The headquarters of the National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST) on Urease Inhibitors of Agricultural and Medicinal Interests is located in the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG; Pamulha Campus), Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Under the leadership of Professors Ângelo de Fátima and Luzia Valentina Modolo, our team brings together expertise in organic synthesis, plant physiology, biochemistry, theoretical chemistry, biology, agronomy, microbiology, and biotechnology.
